Jake finds the financial planning process rewarding because he gets to know you and your story. He enjoys helping you identify strategies that can improve your financial situation. With more than 18 years’ experience in the financial services industry and as a partner in the firm, Jake is committed to helping Copperwynd Financial continue to grow and he does that by partnering with you to help reach your goals.
What makes me knowledgeable?
After graduating from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in business finance, Jake began his career with Fidelity Investments in Salt Lake City, working in trading, investments, fixed income and financial planning. He then transferred to Denver to help high-net-worth clients with financial planning and investment management, later returning to Salt Lake City to work for TD Ameritrade in a similar capacity. With an extensive financial services background, Jake joined Copperwynd in 2016 and has continued his education by earning his CFP® designation. He has used that experience to solve complex financial problems and identify strategies for our client’s benefit.
A little more about me
Jake, his wife Amber and their five children live in the South Jordan area and enjoy spending time together. He volunteers in his community, church and coaching his kid’s sport teams. If he finds free time, he enjoys playing soccer and adventuring in the great outdoors.
